Sabai (សប្បាយ), pronounced sa·bye, means ‘happy’ in Khmer, is a premium ice cream brand rooted in Asian cultures. Our ice cream is made with simple, high-quality ingredients for those who want a taste of home, a reminder of childhood, or a chance to try something new.

We believe in creating premium ice cream that is full of flavor and free of anything artificial. Every pint we serve is made with joy and care, and we are dedicated to supporting and uplifting our communities along the way.

Founder's Note

សួស្តី (Hello)! I am Tommy, the founder of Sabai Creamery.

I was born and raised in Cambodia, and am a lifelong ice cream lover. Since moving to the U.S. and like many other immigrants, I often find myself craving the comforting flavors of home in a pint of ice cream. The search to find ice cream brands that offer Asian inspired flavors without artificial ingredients was challenging. So I began experimenting with ice cream, blending flavors that are rooted in Asian cultures, while also giving it a new American spin without the unnecessary additives.

And so, I created Sabai Creamery with the mission to celebrate Asian heritage and cultures through ice cream, while spreading joy along the way. From the sweet floral Pandan Coconut flavor that reminds me of many Southeast Asian desserts to the rich Chocolate Malt flavor that reminds me of my favorite childhood beverage, Milo, each flavor is a love letter to my home, culture, and experiences that continue to shape me.
